Archibald Rutledge was the first poet laureate of South Carolina. This collection consists of one signed photograph of a portrait of Archibald Rutledge and a poem that Rutledge wrote to Elizabeth Timberlake Clark that was placed on her grave. Rutledge was good friends with Clark through his wife's sister, Camilla Lucas.
