Eight medium format negatives and prints depicting Charles Lindbergh's visit to Spartanburg in 1927. Images show the Spirit of St. Louis at the Spartanburg Memorial Airport, Lindbergh's parade through downtown Spartanburg, and Lindbergh and Mayor Ben Hill Brown speaking at Duncan Park Baseball Stadium. One image depicts photographer Alfred Willis while he photographs the Spirit of St. Louis. Other items in this grouping include a class reunion of Spartanburg High School students standing in front of the Frank Evans High School in the 1970s, a photograph of a parade in downtown Spartanburg around 1920, and a completed application for employment at the camp exchange at Camp Croft.

Lindbergh photographic prints are modern and in excellent condition. All other items in very good condition.
